Register today! SCAD Patient Symposium in Charlotte, NC, on April 22, 2023
The Sanger SCAD Patient Symposium is taking place Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina. Meet other spontaneous coronary artery dissection survivors and learn from experts about the latest in SCAD research and related issues.
A Day Especially for SCAD Survivors…
Family members and friends of SCAD patients welcome!
Spontaneous coronary artery dissection affects the patient’s entire circle, and the Sanger SCAD Patient Symposium offers a program that meets each person’s unique needs — survivor, family, friend, or even clinician. SCAD Alliance Board Members Ann Fitzpatrick, Rebecca Freeman, Maureen Garvey, Naesha Parks, and Board Chair Katherine Leon will host break-out sessions during the program:
– I’m new here. Coping as a recently diagnosed survivor.
– Is this really happening? Defining caregiver needs and strategies.
– Let’s go! Next steps for those ready to advocate or support others.
Throughout the day there will time to ask our speakers the questions you want answered and get to know other SCAD survivors at the Symposium.
