Dr. Esther Kim presents SCAD at Cardiovascular Grand Rounds

On Thursday, January 11, 2018, Dr. Esther Kim spoke at the Saint Luke’s Muriel I. Kauffman Women’s Heart Center in Kansas City, MO, to a very interested crowd of cardiovascular physicians. Her talk, “Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection: An Emerging Cause of Myocardial Infarction,” was the featured lecture of the week’s Cardiovascular Grand Rounds. Dr. Kim is Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of the Arteriopathy Clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is also chair of the SCAD Alliance scientific advisory board.

Saint Luke’s is currently planning a SCAD Town Hall to update patients on the latest news in SCAD research and answer their questions. SCAD Alliance will post more information on all the exciting work being done at Saint Luke’s to support SCAD survivors and their families. Stay tuned!
